ASHN provides the following services to our clients:

• Casework

Eligibility criteria
To participate in ASHN, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be in the process of seeking asylum
• Need housing
• Have legal representation
• Live in the Baltimore area or are new to the United States
• Agree to volunteer 20 hours per week at a local non profit

ASHN is able to maintain only a small caseload of clients.  The need for housing is larger than our current capacity, so we maintain a waiting list.  When there is an opening, we review the waiting list and determine which applicant is in the most vulnerable situation and is a best fit for the program.
